Evan Zelikovitz
Evan Zelikovitz is a Strategic Advisor at Imperium Global Advisors, where he brings more than two decades of experience advising Canadian and multinational organizations on public affairs, communications strategy, and government relations. A lawyer by training, Evan provides clients with strategic counsel on complex policy and regulatory challenges, helping them strengthen their reputation, navigate crises, and achieve their business and advocacy goals.
Evan’s expertise spans strategic planning, media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement. He has designed and implemented comprehensive public affairs programs that include message development, research, coalition-building, and legislative outreach. His work has helped clients secure meaningful policy and regulatory changes, manage high-profile crises, and build trusted relationships with government, media, and industry leaders.
Over the course of his career, Evan has advised a wide range of leading companies and associations, including Microsoft, Barrick Gold Corporation, Pfizer, Merck Frosst, Royal Bank of Canada, American Express, Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and the Retail Council of Canada. His work has also included advising on mergers, acquisitions, and competition law across sectors such as financial services, energy, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and professional services.
Before entering public affairs consulting, Evan worked with the Canadian Competition Bureau following his call to the Ontario Bar in 1994. He began his public affairs career in 1997 and has since led and partnered with numerous U.S.-based and global communications consultancies. He currently operates his own private consulting practice in Ottawa, Ontario.
