Brian Scott
Brian Scott is a Strategic Advisor at Imperium Global Advisors, where he leverages his extensive federal government and national security experience to advise clients on cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and technology policy. His work focuses on helping organizations navigate the evolving federal cybersecurity landscape, strengthen public-private partnerships, and align their operations with emerging national security priorities.
Before joining Imperium, Brian served in senior leadership positions at the White House Office of the National Cyber Director and on the National Security Council staff, where he focused on critical infrastructure, information and communications technology and services (ICTS), space systems, and supply chain cybersecurity. In these roles, he worked closely with senior leaders across the White House, federal agencies, state governments, and the private sector to strengthen national cyber resilience. His expertise spans federal cyber regulations, critical infrastructure protection, national security strategy, policy development, operations management, and interagency coordination.
Prior to his White House service, Brian was Director for Policy at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and held multiple positions at the Department of Homeland Security, including roles within the National Operations Center and the Office of Infrastructure Protection.
Brian began his public service career in the U.S. Navy, where he served for 28 years as a naval aviator and senior officer. His military career included operational deployments in Iraq, Bosnia, and Somalia; service as Air Wing Strike Lead during Operation Desert Storm; command of Training Squadron TEN; and assignment as Air Boss aboard the USS Harry S. Truman during its maiden deployment. His final Navy assignment was as Assistant Professor of National Security Studies and Transportation Industry Studies at the National Defense University’s Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
