Ed Wilson
Major General Ed Wilson (Ret.) is a Strategic Advisor at Imperium Global Advisors, where he brings more than three decades of leadership in cyber, space, and intelligence operations. He advises clients on strategy, policy, and technology issues at the intersection of national security and innovation, helping organizations align their capabilities with U.S. defense and intelligence priorities.
General Wilson served over 30 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, commanding at every level from squadron through joint component. Throughout his career, he was at the forefront of developing and integrating cyber and space operations into U.S. military strategy, earning recognition as one of the Department of Defense’s leading voices in emerging technologies and digital warfare.
Following his military service, General Wilson was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber Policy, where he supported the Secretary of Defense and senior Pentagon leadership in shaping U.S. cyber strategy and operational policy. In this role, he led the development and approval of the landmark 2018 DoD Cyber Strategy and the first-ever Cyber Posture Review submitted to Congress. His leadership helped redefine how the Department employs offensive and defensive cyber operations to defend national interests.
After nearly four decades of combined military and civilian service, General Wilson founded Pinnacle Strategic Consulting, LLC, where he provides counsel to clients in cyber, space, and intelligence. Through his work with Imperium, he continues to advise organizations on strategic initiatives that strengthen public-private collaboration and advance critical national missions.
