Marina Taft Hardy serves as General Counsel at Imperium Global Advisors, providing counsel on governance, compliance, regulatory risk, and strategic partnerships across the national security, technology, and industrial sectors with a strategic focus on supporting clients operating at the intersection of private capital, innovation, and government policy.
Marina also leads Imperium’s State & Local Advisory Practice, guiding economic development, strategic planning, and public-private partnerships for regional quasi-governmental organizations, growth-stage companies, and non-profit organizations. In this role, she has been instrumental in securing competitive grant awards, catalyzing public investment, and advancing workforce, infrastructure, and innovation-ecosystem projects — particularly across industrial resilience, healthcare innovation, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, and emerging-technology initiatives.
Prior to joining IGA, Marina built a career in transportation, healthcare innovation, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. She remains deeply committed to advancing opportunity, strengthening American industry, and expanding access to strategic capital and government resources for innovators and regional economies alike.
Marina held positions at leading companies such as Southeast Toyota Distributors, Southwest Airlines, and Clear Channel Outdoor. As a political strategist, Marina is best known for her work as the co-founder of Change Maryland alongside Maryland Governor Larry Hogan. Marina has served as a Board Member of many leading organizations, including the BWI Business Partnership, the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore and the Greater Washington Urban League.
