Earlier in his career, Andrew served in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman John Katko of New York and Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks of Indiana. In these roles, he led on policy areas including defense, homeland security, veterans affairs, taxation, and small business. He contributed to several legislative initiatives incorporated into the National Defense Authorization Act and supported the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress in developing comprehensive recommendations for reform and modernization.
Before his time on Capitol Hill, Andrew spent a decade in the manufacturing industry with Atlas Foundry Company in Marion, Indiana, and Welch Packaging in Indianapolis, Indiana. His private sector experience brings a deep understanding of operations, efficiency, and the economic landscape across both large metropolitan regions and rural communities.
